【摘要】:TheuseofthebodymeasurementinformationinTables1and2willassistmanufacturersindevelopingpatternsandgarmentsthatareconsistentwiththecurrentanthropometriccharacteristicsofthepopulationofinterest.Thispracticeshouldinturnreduceorminimizeconsumerconfusionanddissatisfactionrelatedtoapparelsizing.(AlsorefertoISO3635SizeDesignationProcedures.)1.1Thesetableslistbodymeasurementsofinfantsx2019;sizes.Althoughthesearebodymeasurements,theycanbeusedasabaselineindesigningapparelforinfantsinthissizerangewhenconsideringsuchfactorsasfabrictype,easeforbodymovement,styling,andfit.1.2Thesetableslistbodymeasurementsforthecompleterangeofinfantsizing.1.3ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemmustbeusedindependentlyoftheother,withoutcombiningvaluesinanyway.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
