【摘要】:ThistestmethodmaybeusedforquantitativedeterminationsofPbinpaintedandunpaintedarticlessuchastoys,childrenx2019;sproducts,andotherconsumerproducts.TypicaltesttimeforquantificationofPbinhomogenoussamplesis1to3min;andtypicaltesttimeforquantificationofPbinpaintis4to8min.1.1ThistestmethodusesenergydispersiveX-rayfluorescence(EDXRF)spectrometryfordetectionandquantificationoflead(Pb)inpaintlayers,similarcoatings,orsubstratesandhomogenousmaterials.Thefollowingmaterialtypesweretestedintheinterlaboratorystudyforthisstandardtestmethod:ABSplastic,polyethylene,polypropylene,PVC,glass,zincalloy,wood,andfabric.1.2ThistechniquemayalsobecommonlyreferredtoasHighDefinitionX-rayFluorescence(HDXRF)orMultipleMonochromaticBeamEDXRF(MMB-EDXRF).1.3Thistestmethodisapplicablefortheproductsandmaterialsdescribedin1.1foraPbmassfractionrangeof14to1200mg/kgforuncoatedsamplesand30to450mg/kgforcoatedsamples,asspecifiedinTable1anddeterminedbyaninterlaboratorystudyusingrepresentativesamples1.4EnsurethattheanalysisareaofthesampleisvisuallyuniforminappearanceandatleastaslargeastheX-rayexcitationbeamatthepointofsampleexcitation.1.5Forcoatinganalysis,thistestmethodislimitedtopaintandsimilarcoatings.Metalliccoatingsarenotcoveredbythistestmethod.1.6X-rayNomenclature8212;ThisstandardnamesX-raylinesusingtheIUPACconventionwiththeSiegbahnconventioninparentheses.1.7TherearenoknownISOequivalentmethodstothisstandard.1.8ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.9Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
