【摘要】:Themethanolextracttestismostcommonlyemployedwithpaste-ordispersion-typevinylresinsintendedfororganosolorplastisolapplications.Thetestresultisaquantitativemeasureofthemethanol-soluble,nonvolatile,essentiallynonpolymericcontentofthevirgin,unmodifiedresin.Themajoringredientremovedisthesoapsystememployedinthepolymerizationreaction;methanolextractprovidesameasureoflot-to-lotuniformityoftheresininthisrespect.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthemethanolextract,ornonvolatilemethanol-solubleportion,ofvinylchlorideresins.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothistestmethod.
