【摘要】:ThispartofIEC60728specifiesrequirementsforTheHybridFibreCoax(HFC)OutsidePlant(OSP)Physical(PHY)LayerSpecificationandispartoftheseriesofspecificationsdevelopedbytheHybridManagementSub-Layer(HMS)subcommitteeundertheSCTE.ThepurposeoftheHMSspecificationistosupportthedesignandimplementationofinteroperablemanagementsystemsforevolvingHFCcablenetworks.TheHMSPhysical(PHY)LayerSpecificationdescribesthephysicallayerportionoftheprotocolstackusedforcommunicationbetweenHMS-complianttranspondersinterfacingtomanagedoutsideplantnetworkelements(NE)andacentralizedhead-endelement(HE).ThisstandarddescribesthePHYlayerrequirementsthatmustbeimplementedbyallType2andType3compliantOSPHMStranspondersontheHFCplantandthecontrollingequipmentinthehead-end.Anyexceptionstocompliancewiththisstandardwillbespecificallynotedhereinasnecessary.RefertoTable1forafulldefinitionofthetypeclassifications.ElectromagneticCompatibility(EMC)isnotspecifiedinthisstandardandislefttothevendortoensurecompliancewithlocalEMCregulatoryrequirements.Otherthanoperatingtemperature,physicalparameterssuchasshock,vibration,humidity,etc.,arealsonotspecifiedandlefttothevendor'sdiscretion.TranspondertypeclassificationsreferencedwithintheHMSseriesofstandardsaredefinedinTable1.
